Mayday.ai was honored to be invited to participate in Wirtschaftstag 2026 / Business Day 2026, hosted by the Wirtschaftsrat der CDU — the Economic Council of the Christian Democratic Union — under the motto “Wieder nach vorne: Mut zu Reformen” — “Moving forward again: Courage to reform.”
The event offered an important forum for open and pragmatic dialogue on the reforms needed to strengthen competitiveness, accelerate innovation, and restore confidence in Germany and the European Union as leading economic and industrial centers.
Discussions covered several critical themes, including courageous deregulation, closer cooperation between politics and business, the macroeconomic challenges facing Germany and the EU, and the opportunities and regulatory questions surrounding the new era of Agentic AI.
For Mayday.ai, the discussions on Agentic AI were especially relevant. As AI systems evolve from passive tools into active decision-support agents, Europe has a unique opportunity to shape this transformation responsibly while ensuring that innovation, productivity, competitiveness, and resilience remain at the center of the policy agenda.
The program brought together several federal ministers and high-ranking representatives from politics and industry.
