Kian Mirshahi, the CEO of Mayday.ai has been invited to speak at a high-level workshop focusing on the use of Artificial Intelligence for Natural Disaster Management.
The full-day event is organised by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the United Nation’s Environment Programme (UNEP), and is hosted by the Greek national administration services in Athens.
A number of horizontal and specialised sessions will concentrate on the use of AI for detection and monitoring, forecasting and projecting, as well as communication. Also Mayday’s approach, which combines Earth Observation (EO), AI and other technologies for providing low-latency disaster insights will be presented.
