Mayday.ai is a centralized and artificial intelligence-based platform providing real time and near real time disaster & incident information services. We provide early warning and two-way communication services within the same ecosystem by leveraging Satellite Imagery (Geostationary, Polar), Camera Imagery, 911, as well as Social Media Sentiment analysis.
Our mission is to help save lives, reduce costs & effects of disasters, and democratize pertinent disaster information when needed most. Our service offerings are available for Governmental Agencies, First Response, Insurance, Utility, & Residential Subscribers.
- Manage all aspects of project/program contract and management activities (defining scheduling, budget, risk, change, opportunity, and resource management activities) for complex projects.
- Ensure that the projects are planned, executed, and managed in accordance with Company policy and PMI best practices.
- Coordinate between customer, contracts, supply chain management, technical leads, and individual contributors in the development of Statement of Work (SOW), proposals, and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Provide the primary point of contact for the customer and management team regarding all aspects of the assigned products/projects.
- Develop project plans detailing all aspects of a product/project required to achieve delivery.
- Track projects according to plan, prepare variance reports, and prepare formal earned value/progress on deliverables.
- During the execution phases, schedule, and chair recurring meetings to ensure efficient communication among project members, customers and ensure project milestones are met.
- 3+ years software development project leadership experience leveraging agile and scrum project management framework
- Bachelor’s degree is required. An engineering discipline or extensive technical background in automation systems is preferred.
- Extensive project management experience within tech industry.
