Kian Mirshahi, the CEO of Mayday.ai was invited to speak at Locate22 – a flagship conference of the Australian space industry.
Mr Mirshahi talked about Mayday’s global risk and disaster solutions in the session of “Building solutions for disaster management and emergency response with European partners”.
The event took place under the auspices of the EU Global Action on Space initiative which aims to promote the EU Space Programme globally, and encourage international collaboration using space-based data and services in a broad range of domains.
As part of Mayday’s expansion in the region, the company has also been selected as one of the ten SMEs which are supported by the European Commission and EISMA in their internationalisation efforts under the EARSC’s Connect EO project.
